a diary entry...

My Year 9 students were required to research a World War 1 local veteran's story...
This student imagined a diary written by one veteran...
The above image is an excerpt from the diary,
describing how the veteran may feel about the Battle of the Somme...

a weathered mirror...

atop a pole is an old weathered mirror
on the Dromana foreshore walkway shared by walkers and bike riders...
The mirror is sited on a sharp, right angled turn on the walkway, beacause visibility can be limited...
Apart from being weathered, the mirror is also a little buckled,
hence the odd bendy reflection of the walkway and beach area...

a young one placed this soft toy on guard to watch the family on the beach at Rosebud yesterday...
I think the soft toy is meant to be a kangaroo...
